Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using AlagaNow ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms govern the relationship between AlagaNow ("we," "us," or "our") and users ("you") of our pet service booking platform in the Philippines.

2. Account Registration

• You must create an account to book services (as a Pet Parent) or list services (as a Pet Pro)
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

3. Platform Services

AlagaNow provides:

• A marketplace to discover and book pet services (grooming, veterinary, training, etc.)
• Scheduling and appointment management tools
• Communication channels between Pet Parents and Pet Pros
• Currently free to use during early access period

Future payment functionality may be added for premium features or service fees.

4. Vendor Listings

• We may manually seed initial vendor listings using publicly available business information
• Pet Pros must claim and complete their profiles with accurate service details
• We reserve the right to deactivate incomplete or unclaimed profiles after 30 days
• All service descriptions must be truthful and not misleading

5. User Responsibilities

Pet Parents:

• Vet Pet Pros thoroughly before booking services
• Provide accurate pet information and service requirements
• Respect appointment times and cancellation policies

Pet Pros:

• Maintain up-to-date business information and credentials
• Honor booked appointments and service commitments
• Provide services at the quality level advertised
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. No Service Guarantees

AlagaNow is a booking platform only. We do not:

• Endorse or guarantee the quality of any Pet Pro's services
• Employ or supervise Pet Pros (they are independent service providers)
• Verify all credentials or qualifications of Pet Pros

Pet Parents must exercise their own judgment when selecting and engaging Pet Pros.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, AlagaNow shall not be liable for:

• Any disputes between users (Pet Parents and Pet Pros)
• Damages resulting from services provided by Pet Pros
• Injuries to pets or persons during service provision
• Technical issues or platform unavailability

8. Platform Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any platform feature
• Restrict access to users who violate these Terms
• Change pricing structure if premium features are introduced

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the proper courts of Metro Manila.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
